Absolutely! If you are working out at home all you need is a set of weights/dumbbells, resistance bands and a step/bench or chair. You would need to select home only on the set up form.

Yes! The workouts are entirely customized to you and your goals. Choose weights that are appropriate for your fitness level and we will gradually work your way up.
No, each month is different! We will repeat movement patterns, this is how we make progress and get stronger. But we will change exercise variations, tempos of the exercises, rep counts and sets, and increase the weights that we are using.

I graduated from the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in 2012 and completed a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in 2016. I have also completed additional certifications over the years with TRX, ACE, NCSF and NASM. I am currently certified through NASM and hold a Level 1 certification with Precision Nutrition. I enjoy all things fitness. I love running, and have completed multiple marathons, 1/2 marathons, triathlons and every distance in between.

Is making time to workout or eat healthy a struggle? When we are first starting out, making the time to workout can be the hardest thing. It is a change in routine. It is new. It can be intimidating. We have to push through and do it anyway. It is fun once you get going! Prioritize yourself and your workouts. With time it will become a habit. You will feel better and look forward to your workouts and you will feel off if you have to miss one.. I promise the journey is worth it. Although starting, or restarting, a fitness program is not always an easy journey, it is worth it. Strength training will improve your body composition, your bone density, your posture, it will even improve your sleep quality, mood and self confidence! Muscle is also harder for your body to maintain so building lean muscle will increase your resting metabolic rate, which basically means you will burn more calories at rest. Muscle is also more dense than fat so building muscle will positively change your body, giving you a "toned" appearance. As we age we lose muscle, this is called sarcopenia. This can begin at age 35. We can lose 1-2% of muscle mass a year! This is often why you hear people complain that it is harder to lose weight as they get older. And it is another reason why it is critical to strength train throughout our life - so we can maintain and even improve our quality of life!
